Barre West is home to the best fitness and movement classes for before, during and post pregnancy.
Our highly trained instructor team has years of experience teaching core rehab, movement for pelvic floor and strength training for participants at all stages of pregnancy. Whether you’re taking class with us in person or online, our community is here to support, motivate and help you feel empowered in your new body.
PRENATAL CLASSES FOR ALL TRIMESTERS
Wondering where to start in your prenatal journey? These classes are for you. Led by expertly trained Barre, Pilates and Pre/Postnatal certified instructors. You’ll be guided through a full body workout that safely and effectively prepares your body for delivery and post natal recovery. Learn how to move well, sleep better and feel great throughout your entire pregnancy.

MOM + BABY + CLASSES
Class sequences, cuing and exercises are specially designed to help rebuild core and pelvic floor strength postpartum. Lead by our highly trained pre/post natal instructor team, they will guide through full body exercises to support and challenge your fitness and help you feel incredible in your new body.
Mom + Baby + Barre
For the new mom + baby who love a body carrier.
Rediscover your love for movement while your baby is snuggled in their carrier. Class is 45 mins of movement designed around a carrier. Good news? If the baby is sleeping in their car seat or on the mat, you can still participate in class! This is our most popular class and we recommend starting your postpartum journey with this signature program. *Mom's must be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared by their doctor for exercise. Babies up to 18 months (or not walking welcome).

Mom + Baby + Pilates
For the mom looking to rediscover their core strength & baby who wants to be out of a carrier.
A 45 min mat based Pilates class focusing on core and pelvic floor rehab. No body carriers used in this class.Little ones are welcome to lay, play or snooze on a mat or blanket beside mom throughout class. *Mom must be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared by their doctor for exercise. Babies ages up to 18 months (or not walking welcome).

Mom + Movers Mat Class
Socialize and move!
This 50 min class packs it all in! Mamas get a 30 min full body workout while their little ones either hang out on their own mats or cruise around with their new barre friends. Babies cannot be in a carrier for this class. The final 20 mins is structured play with baby and mamas. Little ones can be moving (crawling or walking) or snoozing in this class.
*Mom's must be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared by their doctor. Babies ages up to 18 months.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the age requirement for Mom + Baby and Mom + Movers?
Mom + Baby + Barre class is open to babes age 6+ weeks old to and we require you to have approval from their doctor to exercise.
Mom + Baby + Pilates class is open to babes age 6+ weeks to 18 months. No body carriers required.
Mom + Movers class suggested age is 6 - 24 months. This class is great for littles that have become too wiggly or heavy for a body carrier.
What type of carrier should I bring for Mom + Baby class?
Any body carrier that you and your baby are comfortable moving in. We recommend testing out your carrier with baby before attending class. (Body carriers are not provided.)
Is this class friendly for beginners?
Absolutely. Your instructor will walk you through the basics of and what to expect from class. Let your instructor know if you have any questions or concerns relative to pelvic floor or core recovery before class begins. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class time.
Can I drop in to class?
In-studio drop ins are not available at this time. Waitlisted participants will be emailed should space open up in a current session.
Studio Support
New moms, mamas to be and babies have a ton on their plate and we are here to support you both. Our reception area is available to store car seats and bags. This space is also available to change or nurse baby any time during your studio visit. Please leave diapers in the designated trash bin. It takes a little extra time to set up for two; please arrive studio 10-15 minutes before class to get settled.
No need to stress about parking or accessibility, we have unlimited free parking directly in front of the studio. Fussy days happen (for all of us). Don't fret if you and baby need to take a break from class to nurse, get changed or re-group.
